Bungmati and Khokana Tour explores the Bungmati village is 10 km south of Kathmandu. It is a traditional Newari village incredibly rich in culture, language, art and architecture. Khokana is situated 20 minutes walking distance from Bungmati village. Old Newari settlement of khokana village is famous for producing Mustard oil. Many people from this village depend on agriculture and can see farming and life style of local people. The main temple of this village is Shekali Mai which is a two storied construction. The temple of Rudrayani is the major religious site and ponds have also equally religious importance.
