Day 18 - Departure Kathmandu
This relatively easy trek is a wonderful introduction to the Annapurna mountain region starting in Pokhara, on the shores of picturesque Lake Phewa. The trek heads southwest then loops north into the Annapurna Conservation Area through subtropical valleys and rice fields to high ridges of rhododendron forest. The Panchase area is known for a wide variety of birds and animals. Our trek takes us off the beaten track and offers a chance to explore the many cultures in the area, including Brahmin, Magar, and Gurung. We’ll spend a day resting in Ghaundrung, the largest Gurung village in the area. Fabulous views of Annapurna, Macchapucchare (Fishtail), and Himchuli are the highlights here.
Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu
Today is your arrival day. We welcome you upon your arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to Hotel in Kathmandu or anywhere in Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur). A city briefing concerning the necessary formalities on your tour and trek program ahead will follow. Depending upon your arrival time you may spend free time visiting nearby historic/Countryside areas or resting.
Day 02 - Half Day Cultural Sightseeing in Bhaktapur
Half day sightseeing in Bhaktapur World Heritage site where your guide will accompany you on a tour of UNESCO enlisted temples and unique fusion shrines of Newari architecture, reflecting a rare blend of Hinduism and Buddhism. There is enough time to explore the city’s many places of interest with your guide or on your own or simply take a rest. Our Trek Leader/Guide will meet you in the afternoon for trek briefing and final trek preparation. In the evening, sample a delicious traditional Nepali Welcome dinner in authentic Nepali Restaurant with the cultural dance performance and music. Private vehicle is there for you to pick up and drop in at your Hotel. Overnight Hotel stay in Kathmandu.
Day 03 - Fly to Pokhara/ Start Trek to Bhumdi (1525m)
Our tour officer picks you up in the Hotel to drive to Domestic airport after breakfast. We take 30 minutes scenic flight to Pokhara, a naturally beautiful city located about 200 km west of Kathmandu where your trek commences and ends with fun and ever memorable time in close to HimalayanMountains.Our Local trekking guide cum Leader will meet you at the Airport to pick you up for half an hour drive by car to the trekking put in point at Thare Khola south from Pokhara along the Tansen road. Here we start our trek gradually climbing up the west bank before traversing left through the Chhettri/ Brahmin village of Kalibang, then on up through the mixed farming country of Bhumdi. The ridgeline offers fine views north to Machhapuchhre and the AnnapurnaRanges and east to the Manaslu Himal.We set up our camp near the forest. (3 hrs)
Day 04 - Bhumdi -Panchase Bhanjyang (2134m)
The panoramic views from this ridge are in many ways better than those obtained from the areas nearer the mountains as they offer an amazingly wide vista. The trail leads on up the ridge, leaving behind the scattered dwellings and then climbs through mixed vegetation before entering thick deciduous forest which is full of bird life, tree orchids, and in springtime abundant flowers including rhododendrons and white michelia. The trail stays on the shady north facing slopes which are moist and dark leading to prolific plant growth. The traverses on west towards Panchase Lekh(2508m) before climbing up on to the ridgeline which leads to a Chautara ( resting – place). Near this spot, on the south facing slopes, we reach a fine lunch spot in the form of a “Roman Fort” on deserted farming terraces. The afternoon starts with a half an hour walk to a distinctive Bhanjyang( ridge crossing point). Climb away west to the President’s camp set high on hills immediately below Panchase Lekh. (5 hrs)
Day 06 - Panchase Bhanjyang - Bhadhaure (1400m)
An early morning climb of Panchas Lekh is well worthwhile. There is a shrine near the summit and a small lake on the west side of the hill. The summit has incredible views not only north to the Himalayas but also across the board sweep of the foothills in all directions. After lunch the route follows down through the forest to Tashi’s Camp located above the village of Bhadhaure. (6 hrs)
Day 07 - Bhadhaure to Modi River Bank(1110m)
Today we trek through the nice and cultural villages through the rough motorable road, village route and local route via villages experiencing the village life and farming to the bagini forest and descend down to the highway to Baglung near the popular trekking point at Nayapool. We cross the highway and walk through the Nayabasti along the river Modi to Birethanti where the trail is divided. We take one east ward to Syaule bazaar through another interesting local village and people. We set up our camp in the bank of river Modi where we can find the stunning Macchapuchhre. (5 hrs)
Day 08 - Modi River Bank to Tadapani(2650m)
We start our day walking in the rough motorable trail to Syaule Bhatti where we will be walking gradually up in the paved stone enjoying the terraces, farms, flowers and the changing PicturesqueMountain views after a short steep climb up to Gurung Village Ghandruk (1910).We stop here for the lunch. After the lunch we visit thatched roof village and a Gurung Ethnic Mueseum before we head gradually up to Tadapani through the picturesque forests and gorges. Tadapani is in the height of 2650 m making it the best and close view point of Mountain Hiunchuli, Annapurna South and Holy Machhapuchhre(Fishtail)7 hrs
Day 09 - Tadapani to Ghorepani (2850 m)
We start the descend and ascend through another tranquil rhododendron mixed forest through the gorges to Banthanti. Here a few hundreds above we start walking in the ridges of beautiful rhododendron forest again.The ridge walking to Deurali is quite picturesque with the Annapurana and Dhaulagiri ranges.The stone steps downhills in this rhododendron forest covered forst us take us to another breathtaking famous viewpoint Ghorepani.(6 hrs)
Day 10 - Ghorepani to Hille (1410m) after Poonhill hike (3145 m)
We walk up to spectacular Poon hill (3145m) early in the morning and grab the another highlights of the Trek for an hour. View Sunrise with a cup of hot coffee and keep on snapping.
We head down to Ghorepani again for the Breakfast. After breakfast we descend down to Nagethanti, Ulleri through the dense Rhododendron forest greeting frequent trekkers from another side of the trail. We keep on descending through the terraces and in stone steps to Tirkhedhunga that takes us to picturesque terrace at Hille. (8 hrs)
Day 11 - Hille to Nayapool (1060m)/ End Trek
Few hours trek through the another forest and downhills via chhorpati village we find another stone steps descend to Birethanti. It’s a junction of ModiRiver and the Bhurung Khola.We head towards the Nayapool along the river modi again and ends our Trek. Our private vehicle will be already in Nayapool to take us to Pokhara within an hour drive. Overnight Hotel in LakeSide Pokhara.
Day 12 - Pokhara to Charaundi – Start Rafting
Having had the breakfast we then take you to Charaundi east towards Kathmandu nearly three hours drive to start Rafting where our crews will be waiting for you to start the exciting raft to Kuringhat. On the first day you will have exciting raft briefing by your captain to raft nearly three hours experiencing white water rapids like Twins rock, upset, s –band, Ladies delights etc along with the accommodation in the river bank with the excellent cuisine prepared by our rafting crew.
Day 13 - Continue Rafting to Gaighat
We continue our raft 10 am in the morning from Kuringhat with the light rapids first and then various exciting rapids on the way to Terai region of Nepal Our rafting crew serve you very delicious meals on the picturesque sandbank. Normally rafting ends at Gaighat in the sandbeach and time to relax, reading, chatting with the rafting crew.
Day 14 - End Raft / Drive to ChitwanNational Park / Start Jungle Safari
Today we pick you up from Gaighat to the ChitwanNational Park where you start the Jungle exploration that includes Elephant riding, National park briefing and slide show followed by typical Tharu Cultural Dance. (Tharus are the aborigines of the area).
Day 15 - Continue Jungle Safari
You will start the jungle safari from early Morning as per the schedule of the Jungle resort having the break for the meals in between the scheduled Jungle Safari Activities. Nature walking, Canyoing, Elephant bathing, Elephant cookies serving, Bird Watching are the regular in schedule.
Day 16 - Flight to Kathmandu
After the Breakfast we drive to Domestic airport of Chitwan to Fly ot Kathmandu.It’s a short nearly 25 minutes flight with Budha air offers you scenic and stunning Mountain flight to Kathmandu. We meet you at Kathmandu airport to transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu. You have reast of the day free or can join one of our guided Cultural tours around Kathmandu valley.
Day 17 - Everest Flight / Leisure in Kathamdnu
We pick you up early in the morning to transfer to Domestic airport for one of the “world’s must do” Everest Mountain flight for an hour in 5 nautical miles from the awe inspiring Mountains.You will be par excited after the Mountain flights. We pick you up after the Everst flight and transfer to Hotel.After the Breakfast, Leisure Time in Kathmandu. It’s indeed time for the souvenir hunting around Kathmandu’s noted places having optional trip to tranquil historic Heritages in your own or with us or with our versatile guide. We provide extra drive and drop services anywhere.
Day 18 - Departure Kathmandu
