Day 01 –            Arrival in Kathmandu

Today is your arrival day we welcome you upon your arrival at Kathmandu’sTribhuvanInternationalAirport. Transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu.Arrival city briefing follows after Hotel check in concerning the necessary formalities on your tour and trek program. Depending upon your arrival time you may spend free time visiting nearby historic/Countryside areas or resting. In the evening traditional Nepali Welcome dinner in an authentic Nepali Restaurant with the cultural dances that represents different ethnic groups of Nepal. Overnight hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 –            Half Day Cultural Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu World Heritage sights where your guide will accompany you on a tour of UNESCO enlisted Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Kapan Monastery and the  unique fusion shrines of  Newari architectural  Hinduism and Buddhism reflecting ancient  golden  era  of the glories. There is time to explore the city’s many places of interest with your guide or in your own or take a rest. Our Trek Leader/Guide meets you in the afternoon for the trek briefing while we finalize your VISA. Overnight hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03 –            Kathmandu to Paro By Druk Air

The flight into the Himalayas reveals breath-taking views of the great peaks, taking you right into the DragonKingdom’s cloud scraping airstrip at Paro (altitude 7000 ft.). Your Bhutanese escort will greet you upon arrival and drive you through the beautiful Paro valley to your Hotel, situated on a breezy pine-scented hillside. After refreshment take a stroll around the little town at Paro. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.

Day 04 –            Paro – Thimpu

The day begins with a visit to the fuins of Drukgyel Drong (18 Km. From the hotel). This Dzong is of historical importance, from whose ramparts the Bhutanese repelled Tibetan invaders. On a clear day, the 24,000-ft. White dome peak of sacred Chomolhari (Mountain of Goddess) can be seen. After lunch at the hotel visit to Dzong, the NationalMuseum housed in an ancient watchtower, which has a fine collection of ancient Thankas, Paintings, Textiles, Weapons and Artifacts.
In the evening, a 2-hour drive through the Paro and Thimpu valley will take you to the capital of Bhutan (Alt. 7500 ft.). Enroute visit the Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of its kind which once guarded the Thimpu valley, built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1627. It is now a religious university. Overnight hotel in Thimpu.

Day 05 –            Thimpu to Paro

Today, sightseeing in Thimpu includes – the visit to the National Library, which holds a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts, the school of Thankas Paintingand the Traditional Medicine Institute, where centuries old healing art are still practiced. Then, visit the Handicrafts Emporium, to see the exquisite artistry of traditional crafts and textiles and take a stroll through the streets for a little shopping. After lunch visit the Memorial Chorten to His late Majesty (King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck). Later take 15 minutes drive to dechenchholing to witness the gold and silver smiths at work.
Then visit the Tashichhodzong (fortress of the Glorious Reign) built in 1641 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and reconstructed in 1961, using traditional method, without the use of any nails or plans or paper, under the Late King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, regarded as the Father of Modern Bhutan. Overnight hotel in Thimpu.

Day 06 –            Thimpu – Punakha – Paro Excursion

After breakfast, drive to Punakha, which is approximately 2 hours drive from Thimpu. The religious head Je Khampo Resides, here during the winter, (at that time) Punakha Dzong holds more than five hundred Monks. Visit Punakha Dzong and Wangdiphodrang Dzong. Drive to Paro though dochula pass 10,496 ft. With magnificent view of Bhutanese mountains. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 07 –             Depart Paro – Ktm

Early breakfast and  then drive to the airport to board the flight. Your escort will assist you with departure formalities and bid you farewell. Welcome to Kathmandu.

Day 08 – Everest Mountain Flight / Leisure in Kathmandu

We pick you up early in the morning to transfer to Domestic airport for one of the “world’s must do” EverestMountain flight for an hour in 5 nautical miles from the awe inspiring Mountains. You will be par excited after the Mountain flights. We pick you up after the Everest flight and transfer to Hotel.

Leisure Time in Kathmandu. It’s indeed time for the souvenir hunting around Kathmandu’s noted places having optional trip to tranquil historic Heritages in your own or with us or  with our versatile guide. We provide extra drive and drop services anywhere.

Day 09 –            Departure Kathmandu
