Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu
Arrival Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meet our officials to get assisted and transferred to the hotel. Arrival briefing at your hotel and Welcome dinner at the Authentic Nepali Restaurant with the cultural dances. Enjoy! O/N stay in Kathmandu.
Day 02 World Heritage sightseeing Kathmandu and Swoyambhu Nath
Half day S/S of Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is the ancient Royal Palace area with the temple of living Goddess and religious shrines built during 12th to 18th century. Here, begin your visit from Kasthamandap temple believed to have been built of a single tree (Kathmandu- the name of the city is derived by this temple). Then, drive to the Swoyambhunath Stupa (the oldest stupa situated on a hillock which offers a breath taking view of the Kathmandu valley). Enlisted in the World Heritage list, Swoyambhunath Stupa is also known as Monkey Temple. O/N stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03 Full day World Heritage Sightseeing Pashupatinath, Boudha and Patan
Today you leave for a Full day sightseeing around Pashupati Nath Temple. This is the popular Hindu Pilgrimage sites. Here, you can observe cremation rituals in Hindu way. Now drive to Boudhanath temple- world’s biggest of its type. This is the most happening place of Tibetan Buddhism. Here, Tibetan Buddhist Monks are found meditating and chanting prayer almost all through the days.
Finally drive to Patan. Its turn to get mesmerized with the Nepalese architecture once again. In this city of Art, there are many Buddhist monuments, Hindu temples decorated with exotic wood carvings. One of the most beautiful city in the valley, indeed. Adjouned to the city is Bungamati. A typical village in the outskirt of this town is also an attraction of this city. (Bungamati is a pleasant classical Newari village sitting atop a spur above the Bagmati River). Day 04 Hiking to Nagarkot via Changunarayan
Drive to Changunarayan Temple, one of the seven world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. Built in 5th century, it is the oldest temple dedicated to Hindu God Bishnu. Enjoy the sightseeing around. Having lunch, we start our Hiking to Nagarkot. The hiking trail is traced amidst the villages and forest giving the traveler chances to enjoy hills, mountain and bird’s eyes view of Bhaktapur city. Reach Nagarkot, a hill resort; from here we get breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Gauri Shankar, Dorje Lhakpa and other mountains. Overnight at the hotel of Nagarkot for the best sun rise view next morning.
Day 05 Hike to Dhulikhel
We wake up early to catch the sun rising over the snowy Himalayan peaks. The first rays of the sun color the peaks in gold. Hold your breath as the mountains unveiled slowly- starting from Kanchenjunga and Everest in the far East to Annapurna and Dhaulagiri in the West. Have your breakfast and get ready to trek down the old Newari town of Dhulikhel. Overnight hotel stay in Dhulikhel.
Day 06 Hike to Namobuddha
oday, the hiking trail goes up on stone staircase leading to Namo Buddha. After passing through few village and forested hill, you reach the top of the Hill. Enjoy scenic walk of the rural beauty. There is a very popular Buddhist monastery recently built to stun you with its interiors with Buddhist wall art in Namo Buddha. Back to Dhulikhel for overnight.
Day 07 Mountain Biking to Kathmandu
Time to experience change with mountain bike. Lets Warm up. After breakfast we start Mountain biking towards Kathmandu via Dhulikhel and Bhaktapur. O/N at the hotel of Kathmandu
Day 08 Flight to Pokhara/Private Sightseeing
Our tour officers pick you up in the Hotel to drive to Domestic airport after breakfast. We take 30 minutes scenic flight to Pokhara, a naturally beautiful city located about 200 km west of Kathmandu.
S/S of Pokhara (Pokhara is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains, with a magnificent lake of crystal-clear pure Himalayan water. David fall, Cave, International Mountain Museum, Lakes etc.).
Day 09 Early morning to Peace Pagoda for Mt. views/ Boating/ Fly to Kathmandu
Wake up early morning and start walking up the hill station to Peace Pagoda for the Mountain and Pokhara valley view. Shortly you will be enjoying boating on the Fewa Lake. Back to the hotel, after breakfast drive to the Airport for Kathmandu flight. Free time for Shopping.
Day 10 Departure Kathmandu
Our Tour officer meets you in Hotel for the Departure Transfer to Kathmandu’s International Airport. We will be always welcoming you back to Nepal for various other stunning Trekking or looking forward to serving you in our other country travel arrangements.
