Shivapuri Hill Trek inside Kathmandu Valley is an idyllic walk takes you through quiet forests and bustling villages in the Shivapuri Valley and then up to Shivapuri Hill (2729m), the highest point on this trek. From the top of Shivapuri Hill you’ll see more than 60 towering mountain peaks, including Manaslu, Boudhahimal, Ganeshhimal, Langtang range, Dorjeelakpa, Shisapangma and Gaurishankar. You’ll also trek to the village of Nagarkot, one of the most scenic locations in the entire Kathmandu Valley with commanding views of the great Himalayan peaks.

Day 01 – Arrival Kathmandu

Today is your arrival we welcome you upon your arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. Transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu. Arrival city briefing follows after Hotel check in concerning the necessary formalities on your tour and trek program. Depending upon your arrival time you may spend free time visiting nearby historic/countryside areas or resting.In the evening traditional Nepali Welcome dinner in an authentic Nepali Restaurant with the cultural dances. Overnight Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 – Everest Mountain Flight and World Heritage Sightseeing in Kathmandu

We pick you up early in the morning to transfer to Domestic airport for one of the “world’s must do” Everest Mountain flight for an hour in 5 nautical miles from the awe inspiring Mountains. You will be par excited after the Mountain flights. We pick you up after the Everest flight and transfer to Hotel. Half day sightseeing in Bhaktapur World Heritage sites where your guide will accompany you on a tour of UNESCO enlisted Hindu temples and the unique fusion shrines of Newari architectural Hinduism and Buddhism reflecting ancient golden era in local traditions of the glories. There is time to explore the city’s many places of interest with your guide or in your own or take a rest while trekking permits are finalized. Our Trek Leader/Guide meets you in the afternoon for the trek briefing and for the final trek preparation.  Overnight Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03 – Kathmandu – Kakani (1982m)

We start in Kathmandu and drive 29 kilometres northwest to Kakani, a scenic village with beautiful views of the Himalayas stretching from the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges to Ganesh Himal of Langtang Ranges of Mountains. The landscape here is verdant, with rhododendron and oak forests on the southern slope leading down to Balaju. Camp overnight at High.

Day 04 – High Hill – Shivapuri Hill (2729m)

Our walk along green hilltops takes us to Shivapuri, famous for its abundant wildlife and wide variety of birds. This national park is a watershed that provides most of the drinking water for Kathmandu far below.

Day 05 – Shivapuri hill – Chisapani (2050m)

Today we walk farther along the hills to Chisapani, a Tamang village whose name means ‘cold water’. We stay overnight here, with beautiful views of the mountains.

Day 06 – Chisapani – Nagarkot (2175m)

Our walk today takes us to Nagarkot, a popular mountain resort Hillside  famous for its spectacular views of Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal and many other Himalayan peaks. The sunset views are spectacular. Surrounded by terraced hillsides and picturesque farms, this is a tranquil setting to relax and enjoy the view.

Day 07 – Nagarkot– Dhulikhel (1440m)

Today we walk across the hills past terraced farmlands and a green landscape to Dhulikhel, an ancient town more than 1500 years old. Local habitats of this are Newar people who immigrated to this place for the trade between Nepal and Tibet. Newars are known for their artistry, and houses feature carved lattice window frames.

Day 08 – Dhulikhel – Kathmandu

Today we travel from Dhulikhel  to Historic Monastery in the Hillock of Namobudha and hike back via Ancient Town Panauti, which is also known as the Earthquake proof city back to Kathmandu.

Day 09 – Leisure in Kathmandu

After the breakfast, Leisure time in Kathmandu. It’s indeed time for the souvenir hunting around Kathmandu’s noted places having optional trip to tranquil historic heritages in your own or with us or with our versatile guide. We provide extra drive and drop services anywhere.

Day 10 – Depart Kathmandu

Our Tour officer will meet you in your Hotel for Departure Transfer to Kathmandu’s International Airport. We will always welcome you back to Nepal in future and look forward to serving you as per your interests.
